I-Days returns to Milan, a summer full of music

The 2023 edition was a golden one for the Milan event that was attended by more than 320,000 people from not only Europe but also the world. In 2024, the music festival returns to enliven the city of Milan and the location will once again be the SNAI racetrack in Milan.

Just as they did last year, the organizers have not spared themselves and the lineup presented is respectable.
It starts off strong right away with Metallica who, on May 29, anticipated on stage by Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills, will set the racetrack on fire with a show that, even before it begins, is already being called one of the most impressive in Italy. Metallica is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated bands for the event since, in addition to being a historic band in the heavy metal scene, it is one of the bands that unites music fans of all generations.

It continues on June 4 with the eclectic spirit of Lana Del Rey. The eclectic New York artist will perform on the Hippodrome stage with a promise to bring not only all her artistic explosiveness, but also the intimate intensity of some of the songs that, over the years, have made her a worldwide artist.

Instead, on Thursday, June 27, it will be Doja Cat who will take the stage. The American rapper as well as producer, fresh winner of a Grammy Award, will be anticipated by BigMama (nice endorsement for her!) and hemlocke springs.

Some more Italy on stage for a weekend of rap music. The standard-bearer will be Tedua who, after touring around the boot, promoting his new work “La Divina Commedia,” will measure himself against an international stage on a hot (hopefully!) midsummer Saturday. Accompanying him will be Brintannic 21 Savage (Saturday 29) and New Yorker Offset on the 30th. A truly unmissable weekend driven by the new international rap scene.
Six years after their last Italian performance, Queen Of The Stone Age return to Italy for their only date, right in Milan, on July 6.

July 7 continues with another top-notch evening. The main band will be Bring Me The Horizon who, led by frontman Oliver Sykes, will take the stage as headliners. Watch out, however, not to arrive too late because opening the evening will be all the energy of Yungblud and the metalcore of Bad Omens.

Punk fans, on the other hand, will not be able to miss the July 9 date. In fact, Sum 41, Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan will take turns on stage. An evening therefore that promises to be a mix of nostalgia, new hits and wild jumps!

Finally, the festival closes with a change of tack on July 12. In fact, the Stray Kids will make the racecourse dance. The Korean band will perform for the first time in Italy in the only full European headlining concert.

… In short, we can say that this year’s Milan summer will be anything but boring again.
